Joseph Pilates developed his method in the early 20th century. He built the reformer to fine-tune exercises using springs – and that's exactly what we still use today.
The springs let you adjust the resistance step by step – lighter to start, heavier when you want more. No previous experience is needed.
“I was there for the first time today and I'm absolutely thrilled. The studio is beautiful, and the ‘Core Flow’ class flew by.”
“Simply wow, I've never felt so comfortable anywhere – a heartfelt recommendation! The instructors were all lovely and attentive, so you felt looked after around the clock.”
“I went to Pilates for the first time with a friend. We chose the beginners' class because we had absolutely no idea what to expect. […] The exercises were always explained well to us, and a lot of attention was paid to proper form too. The time flew by.”
